I wish I could tell you that these awful symptoms were what led me to a health care practioner.

THEY SHOULD HAVE!

But I was young and there wasn't as much information available to me as there is now. It wasn't until I happened to watch a documentary called Food Inc. that I had a wake up call about the state of our food.

EVERYTHING CHANGED! I WAS DETERMINED TO LEARN MORE.

I booked an appointment with a Holistic Nutritionist to find out how my symptoms correlated with what was going on inside my body, got educated about the food I was eating and learned which specific foods were right for my body (and which weren't).

That was back in 2009. Since then, I've worked with countless health practitioners, I've taken more supplements, herbs and remedies than I can count, I've had my hormones and food sensitivities tested and I've tried various elimination diets. 

I've also continued to learn so I can expand my knowledge base.

 Since '09, I've become a certified Culinary Nutrition Expert (which means not only do I have the know how about why the foods we eat are good for us BUT I also know how to use them in the kitchen) and I've specialized in advanced detoxification.

Hi my name is Leisa. I had the pleasure of meeting Valerie to help me try and control my blood sugar levels. I have type 2 diabetes. The doctor was wanting my levels to be under 7 and I was having trouble getting it there on my own. I was impressed with Valerie's ability to understand exactly what needed to be done to help me achieve my goals. Valerie did an amazing job of getting me on track through changing my eating habits to help with my sugar levels. I know you probably have a few more questions before you're ready to invest your hard earned money, so here are some FAQ's:
 

The 1 month package consists of 3 visits spaced out over the course of a month. Our initial visit together includes an assessment of your lifestyle, dietary habits, unique issues and concerns. You'll also walk away with some basic preliminary steps to take. We will meet 2 weeks later where you will receive a comprehensive nutrition plan to follow. Our third visit acts as a check in point where we will reassess how you are doing and determine what steps to take next. 

The most obvious difference is the time commitment. The 6 month package is more intensive as we cover more ground. Although both packages include: an intro to healthy eating, Digestion 101 and an assessment of your unique issues and concerns, the 6 month package emphasizes detoxification (specifically colon & liver) and gut repair. It's more of a total body rebalancing. 
                       

All consultations are done virtually (over the computer) via Skype. If you aren't familiar with Skype, it's a free application that allows us to have a video conference where we can see and hear one another. It's pretty awesome! This means that no matter where you are in the world - we can connect. 
 


After your non-refundable payment is completed, you’ll receive a link to my calendar so you can choose the best time that fits your schedule. Appointments are available on Tuesdays from 3 pm - 5pm and Thursdays from 9 am to 5 pm, Eastern Standard Time (EST). This is first come, first served, so if the time you want is taken, you can choose to book the next month. The appointment must be booked within 60 days of payment. You'll be prompted to fill out the nutrition intake form while you're scheduling your appointment online. Then all you have to do is show up on Skype at our scheduled time.

Payment plans are only offered for 3 &6 month services, broken down like so: 3 month option can be paid in 2 instalments of $449.50. The first payment due right away and the second due at the end of the second month of working together. 6 month option can be paid in 3 instalments of $566.33. The first payment due right away, the second due at the end of the third month and the third due at the end of the fifth month of working together. 
Payment plans can only be made via e-money transfer and are due promptly. Missed or late payments will result in termination of working together. Please contact me directly if you require a payment plan. 

For the 3& 6 month services, we will meet twice a month bi-weekly. The first consult will be about an hour in length where I will go over the focus for that particular month. You will be sent a treatment plan for the month including everything we discuss, lifestyle recommendations, a supplement list and a custom meal plan. And of course, there will be plenty of time for questions. The second consult is a follow up visit to ensure that things are going smoothly and to address any issues that may have come up since our last meeting. 

If we've previously worked together, there are follow-up options available to you. If it's been over a year since I've seen you, then you must select the 60 min follow-up option. If it's been less than a year since I've seen you, then you are welcome to select the 30 min follow-up option. 

Although I offer ready-made meal plans through the online store, I can also customize a meal plan to your specific needs and dietary restrictions. For example, your lifestyle - maybe you love to cook and be in the kitchen or maybe you have zero time and need meals that are quick and convenient. I'll take your food likes/dislikes into account as well as any food allergies or sensitivities that you may have. 

I can personally promise that you'll notice, see and feel some level of change from working with me one-on-one. Whether it's less bloating, weight loss, improved skin, decrease in allergy symptoms or overall general feeling of wellness, BUT only if you put in the work. If you're expecting a quick fix or magic cure-all and don't think you'll take action, then of course you probably won't get any results. If that sounds like you, then I strongly suggest you don't waste the money.
Please understand this - I'll be your biggest cheerleader as you work towards your health and wellness goals. I'll provide you my expertise, years of personal experience, effective tools, strategies and a unique treatment plan BUT I can't be the one doing all of the work. You have to be ready and willing.
