Peppermint Mocha Latte

I don't know about you but on cold grey days there is nothing I want more than a hot drink to lift my spirits and warm me up! 

I'm really loving this Peppermint Mocha Latte as of late and thought I'd share this simple recipe with you!

Nutrition Note: Raw cacao powder is rich in magnesium. This mineral has a tranquilizing effect on the body and works to relax our muscles, nervous system and calm our mind. That makes this drink the perfect night-cap to help wind you down and relax you before bed.

Peppermint Mocha Latte

1-2 cups non-dairy milk (I used coconut)

2 tbsp raw cacao powder

1 heaping tbsp Dandy Blend (coffee alternative)

maple syrup to taste (I used about a tbsp)

2-3 drops food grade peppermint essential oil (you don't need much - it's powerful stuff!)

In a small saucepan over low heat, warm all ingredients together and whisk until everything is combined. Serve in your favourite mug and enjoy!
