Strawberries & Cream Smoothie (Vegan)
/I love a good smoothie in the morning - it's a really great way to get a ton of nutrition in one convenient meal. If you suffer from any sort of digestive issues incorporating smoothies would be a wise choice. Because the fibre from the fruits and veggies is slightly broken down it makes digestion and assimilation of the ingredients much easier.

Smoothies don't need to be fancy or contain a ton of ingredients - I usually use what I have on hand. But I always strive to include greens, protein (especially when it's replacing a meal), healthy fats & a super food when possible.
I definitely go through phases with my smoothies - some weeks I'm on a huge smoothie kick and other weeks I feel uninspired. To reignite my love of smoothies, I look for inspiration from other nutritionists I follow on social media.
My last point on smoothies - they make a fantastic meal on the go. For those of you who have busy schedules and struggle to sit down and eat a proper breakfast, I highly recommend incorporating smoothies. If you have 5 minutes - you can make a smoothie!
If you follow my Facebook page then you know I've been loving my green smoothies with frozen pineapple as of late. But we all need a little change now and again and I was feeling inspired by the local Ontario strawberries I had sitting in my fridge. And that's how this smoothie was born! It's certainly a new fave of mine and I hope you'll enjoy it too!
