It's really simple and if you love strawberries, you'll love this smoothie!
1 Cup non-dairy milk (I use almond)
1 Cup frozen organic whole strawberries
A handful of spinach
1 Tbsp Flaxseed oil
1 Tsp Spirulina Powder
Blend on high for 1-2 minutes and enjoy:)
Why I love this smoothie! It's loaded with calcium and vitamin C. You're getting a dose of healthy fats from the flaxseed oil and the spirulina provides vegetable based protein and other important vitamins and minerals such as iron, vitamin E, zinc and B complex. This smoothie has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties due to the phytonutrients in the spinach and spirulina.
